SJVN Invites Bids for 100 MW Solar Project at Dholera Solar Park
SJVN Ltd, a joint venture between the Government of India and the Himachal Pradesh government, has issued a call for bids to eligible developers for establishing a 100 MW solar photovoltaic plant at the Dholera Solar Park in Gujarat. The selected entity will be responsible for design, engineering, supply, construction, and commissioning under a Build, Own, Operate (BOO) framework within 15 months from site handover.
The solar project will require the developer to manage operations and maintenance for a period of 10 years following its commissioning.
The awarded project will function under a Power Purchase Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for 25 years, with the maximum tariff capped at Rs 2.92 per unit.
Interested bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 11.8 lakh along with their bids, with the last submission date set for July 16, 2020. A pre-bid meeting has been planned to address clarifications before bid closure. Participation is open to SJVN’s empanelled vendors meeting the financial criteria of an average annual turnover of Rs 380 crore over the past three years.
This move aligns with SJVN’s efforts to grow its renewable energy portfolio while contributing to Gujarat’s solar capacity expansion and clean energy targets.
