GUJARAT: The Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) successfully completed the deployment of a high-speed fibre optic network, marking a crucial step in transforming the region into a smart industrial hub under India’s Smart City Mission. The advanced network infrastructure is designed to deliver seamless digital connectivity, real-time data monitoring, and automation capabilities, ensuring industries in Dholera can operate efficiently with global standards.

The fibre optic network will enable semiconductor manufacturing units, electronics industries, and advanced industrial facilities in Dholera to leverage smart utilities, predictive maintenance, and integrated supply chain management, enhancing productivity and operational transparency. This infrastructure supports high-bandwidth applications, essential for data-intensive operations, IoT-enabled monitoring, and Industry 4.0 practices.

Integrated with Dholera’s broader smart city infrastructure, the network provides the backbone for intelligent street lighting, automated water and power management, and security surveillance systems, promoting a resilient and technology-enabled ecosystem for investors.
