 DHOLERA:
In a defining moment for India’s future urban infrastructure, the Administrative and Business Centre for Dholera (ABCD Building) was officially inaugurated as the smart city’s first command and control centre. This cutting-edge facility serves as the digital operations hub for the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), enabling real-time governance, public utility management, and integrated civic services.

Strategically located within the Activation Area, the ABCD Building has been designed with advanced ICT (Information and Communication Technology) systems, allowing authorities to monitor and manage key functions such as traffic control, power distribution, water supply, waste management, and security surveillance. The facility also provides administrative space for decision-makers and service teams, making it a centralized point for urban operations and investor support.

Authorities emphasize that this command centre forms the backbone of Dholera’s smart city framework, reflecting a move toward automation, transparency, and citizen-focused governance. The building will also act as a central coordination node for future digital initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity across citywide infrastructure systems.

Officials highlighted that this development aligns with Dholera’s vision of being a tech-integrated, plug-and-play industrial hub, offering investors a transparent and efficient ecosystem. The ABCD centre's successful launch is seen as a major step forward in showcasing the feasibility of smart governance in greenfield urban developments.
