India’s First 5-Star Hotel Planned in Dholera Smart City to Boost Tourism and Business
A major milestone for Dholera Smart City was announced as SmartHomes Infrastructure partnered with Marriott International to launch Courtyard by Marriott, the region’s first five-star hotel. The premium property will be developed within Dholera International Plaza, near the iconic ABCD Building and in close proximity to the proposed Dholera International Airport.
The planned hotel will feature 200 well-appointed rooms, international-standard conference facilities, and luxury amenities tailored to cater to global business delegates, tourists, and investors. The initiative is expected to significantly improve hospitality infrastructure in the smart city zone.
With an estimated investment of ₹650 crore, the hotel and convention center project is scheduled for completion by 2026, aligning with Dholera’s Phase-1 infrastructure and airport rollout. This project arrives at a time of growing international attention toward Dholera, particularly from sectors like semiconductors, electric vehicles, aerospace, and green energy.
The hotel will not only offer upscale lodging but also serve as a business tourism hub, hosting high-level meetings, exhibitions, and investor summits. Its presence is expected to accelerate Dholera’s transformation into a globally connected smart city with top-tier urban infrastructure and investor-ready facilities.
