GUJARAT: Dholera has been officially announced as a Smart City under Gujarat’s development vision, aiming to transform the region into a sustainable and technology-driven hub for advanced industries and modern urban living. The Smart City project will focus on integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems, efficient urban planning, and eco-friendly infrastructure to ensure seamless city management while supporting high-tech industries.

Under this initiative, Dholera will develop smart mobility systems, real-time traffic management, automated water and waste management, smart grids, and digital governance platforms to create a clean, organized, and efficient urban environment. These efforts will directly benefit semiconductor, electronics, and advanced manufacturing industries, providing them with the reliable infrastructure and digital connectivity needed to operate efficiently.
