GUJARAT: The State Bank of India (SBI) entered into a formal agreement with the Gujarat government to provide dedicated financing solutions for businesses planning to establish operations within the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). This partnership is designed to streamline credit access for semiconductor, electronics, and advanced manufacturing industries looking to set up facilities in Dholera, reducing financial hurdles and enabling timely project execution.

Under this collaboration, SBI will offer customized financial products and working capital solutions tailored to the unique needs of high-tech industries and MSMEs. This initiative will support companies in securing the necessary funds for land acquisition, machinery procurement, infrastructure development, and operational scaling within the region, fostering an investment-friendly environment for cutting-edge manufacturing projects.

By facilitating easier access to structured credit, the partnership between SBI and the Gujarat government aims to encourage both domestic and international investors to consider Dholera as a prime destination for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. This move aligns with Gujarat’s commitment to promoting high-value industrial growth while supporting the state’s vision of developing Dholera as a hub for advanced manufacturing under India’s Make in India and semiconductor mission initiatives.

The financing support from SBI complements Dholera’s existing infrastructure, single-window clearance system, and connectivity advantages, further positioning the region as a competitive ecosystem for high-tech investments in India.
