GANDHINAGAR: The Dholera Special Investment Region Development Authority (DSIRDA) initiated its first official bidding process for industrial land parcels within the 22.5 sq km Activation Area of Town Planning Scheme 1. This zone serves as the foundational hub for early-stage industrial and manufacturing operations within the Dholera SIR, marking a critical step in the region’s phased development strategy.

This tender launch is aimed at attracting early-stage anchor investors, particularly in strategic sectors such as electronics manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, aerospace, and defense equipment production. The plots offered are pre-identified, with digital boundaries, and are linked to the trunk infrastructure under active implementation by AECOM, the program manager.

Bid documents provided detailed information regarding:
Power and water supply readiness, drawn from planned substations and water treatment facilities

Provisions for plug-and-play utility corridors including telecom, stormwater, and sewage

Regulatory framework, land titles, and development control norms

DSIRDA’s approach aims to ensure transparent land allocation, reduced entry barriers for private firms, and alignment with long-term master plan goals.

This launch phase is seen as a signal of market readiness and a test of investor confidence in Dholera’s long-term viability as a next-generation industrial hub under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
