GUJARAT: The Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) achieved a significant milestone by completing its primary internal road infrastructure, paving the way for advanced industrial development in Gujarat. The newly developed roads, including 72-meter and 55-meter wide arterial routes, are strategically designed to facilitate smooth and efficient intra-region movement, enabling industries to operate with reduced transit times and enhanced logistics efficiency.

This robust infrastructure can accommodate heavy-duty freight vehicles transporting semiconductor fabrication machinery, electronics manufacturing equipment, and advanced industrial components, ensuring seamless connectivity for industries setting up in Dholera. These developments align with Dholera’s vision of becoming a plug-and-play industrial hub, supporting the semiconductor and high-tech electronics sectors under India’s Make in India initiative.

The completed roads are integrated with Dholera’s smart city framework, featuring underground utilities, stormwater drainage, and ICT-enabled monitoring systems, supporting ease of doing business for global and domestic investors. These developments further enhance Dholera’s appeal as a preferred investment destination within the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), offering industries ready-to-use infrastructure to accelerate project implementation timelines.
