GUJARAT: The Gujarat government has approved a dedicated budget to advance infrastructure development in the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), supporting its goal of transforming the area into a hub for semiconductor, electronics, and advanced manufacturing industries. This budget will help build essential infrastructure such as wide internal roads, reliable water supply systems, drainage networks, and consistent electricity connections, ensuring that companies can begin operations efficiently.

This move aligns with Gujarat’s broader vision under the Make in India initiative, focusing on creating investment-ready industrial zones that attract global and domestic investors looking to establish semiconductor and electronics manufacturing units in India.
