GUJARAT: Authorities and planning officials have held discussions on implementing water recycling and reuse initiatives to support Dholera’s future industrial and urban needs. As Dholera is envisioned as an advanced industrial hub, ensuring sustainable water management is critical to supporting semiconductor, electronics, agro-processing, and advanced manufacturing industries while preserving water resources for residents.

The proposed plans include setting up modern water treatment plants to process wastewater generated from industries and residential areas, treating it to standards suitable for reuse in industrial operations, landscaping, and non-potable municipal needs. This approach will reduce dependency on freshwater sources, ensure efficient water use, and align with Gujarat’s goals of sustainable development in industrial zones.
