The Importance of Programs for Skill Development
The economy that women now face is becoming less labour-intensive and more dependent on capital, technology, knowledge, and talent. Because women have been discriminated against for so long in our culture, they are unaware of their surroundings and struggle to express their full potential, which makes them feel helpless. In addition to low literacy rates, women also have to deal with discriminatory societal norms and behaviors, a lack of exposure to new technologies, a lack of training and employment hours, and low levels of literacy.
Women also have a higher likelihood of working under temporary contracts, being underpaid, or being underemployed. The abilities that employees can provide and the skills that companies require frequently don't match. Many confronting challenges and inhibitions have prevented even government initiatives to promote women's skills from reaching a desirable level.
