# Frontend audit and editorial refresh

## Findings

- The homepage introduction depended on two text columns; its statistics lacked a strong visual anchor.
- Service cards repeated their audience and positioning across two supporting text blocks.
- The accessible filter tabs already limited the page to one active question, but the question and three discussion prompts competed for attention.
- The market accordion and contact-location links worked, but the section had no geographic imagery.
- The 1320px maximum container left broad unused margins at 1920px. The section spacing also had several accumulated overrides.
- Allied services already used configuration-driven links; preserve all eight destinations.
- Google review content and native scrolling were functional. Card proportions and navigation spacing needed refinement.
- Inner service pages used older generic imagery while the homepage used a different photo collection.

## Implementation

- Retain hero markup, video, poster, playback logic, brand, fonts, routes, form logic and team portraits.
- Give the introduction a 45/55-style copy/photo split and a unified four-statistic band.
- Reduce service cards to number, photograph, title, audience line and navigation affordance; retain their native mobile slider.
- Reuse the tab controller with a supporting Bengaluru photograph and native details for optional discussion prompts. All configured content remains available.
- Add a Bengaluru city photograph alongside the regional accordion, keeping all location chips and URLs.
- Keep allied services compact, numbered and connected to their existing destination anchors.
- Tighten testimonial widths, preserve all review text and navigation, and expose the existing star ratings to assistive technology.
- Use a photographic forest-green closing section with the original headline and contact destination.
- Increase useful homepage content width up to 1680px, with bounded paragraph measures and controlled section spacing. Hero geometry is excluded.
- Use one Blade image component for locally hosted 720px/1440px sources, intrinsic dimensions, lazy loading and responsive sizes. Sources and licenses are in `public/assets/CREDITS.md`.

## Verification

`tests/editorial-home.spec.js` checks 375, 430, 768, 1024, 1280, 1440, 1536, 1600 and 1920px. It verifies image decoding, page overflow, hero source/poster, single h1, all filter panels and disclosures, exclusive market expansion, slider controls and the final CTA, and saves full-page screenshots.

Existing browser checks cover all ten routes, local assets and links, mobile navigation, keyboard operation, reduced motion and form brief preparation. The obsolete service-selector test was updated to follow the current expertise and allied-service links to the consultation form; no selector was present in the audited homepage.

The contact-map browser test now validates the configured WhatsApp destination instead of requiring the historical demo number. Contact configuration and delivery logic are unchanged.

Run: `php artisan view:cache`, `php artisan test`, `npx.cmd playwright test` (Windows).
