About JEE Exam
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national-level entrance test for admission to engineering courses across various colleges and universities in India. JEE entails two levels, known as JEE Main and JEE Advanced (previously called IIT-JEE).
While the JEE Main, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year, is the primary test leading you to open the doorways to any Indian technical college, JEE Advanced is the second test that would give you entry specifically to the IITs and is conducted by different IITs as per their turn. You have to appear for 3 papers for JEE Main, and for JEE Advanced, it’s 2. The mode of examination in both cases is computer-based and the duration remains 3 hours.
